What Parents Say

FAQs

Early Intervention means identifying and providing effective early support to children so that they can achieve their milestones and avoid delays. When a child does not meet those milestones, parents can help their children achieve those milestones through effective early intervention.

At JCDC, we offer the best combination of therapies for children with autism, speech delays, ADHD, and developmental challenges in Nepal. Our center in Kathmandu provides evidence-based early intervention services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and child counselling. These therapies are designed to help children improve communication, social interaction, motor skills, and emotional well-being. Early therapy—starting as young as 2 months—can make a big difference. If you're searching for autism therapy in Nepal or looking for speech delay treatment in Kathmandu, our expert team is here to support your child’s growth with personalized care.

EIP includes Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychological sessions for Cognitive Development, and Diet Consultation.

If your child is not reaching developmental milestones like walking, speaking, or interacting socially, they may benefit from early intervention services in Nepal. Delays in speech, motor skills, or behavior can be early signs of conditions like autism, ADHD, or developmental delays. At JCDC in Kathmandu, we provide professional assessments and personalized early intervention programs for children as young as 2 months up to 10 years old. If you're concerned about your child’s development, it's best to schedule an evaluation with our expert team. Early support can make a significant difference in your child’s growth and confidence.

EIP depends on your child’s delay (mild, moderate or severe delay) and child’s diagnosis/condition. In many cases, EIP is long term and solely depends on a child’s progress.

Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy are 3 mandatory services for a child with special needs. However, if our assessment indicates that a child may not require a particular therapy, then in such cases, you can choose only the required services.

EIP starts from as early as 3 months. In JCDC, we enroll children from 3 months of age to 6 years, as we believe that EIP works best during these years. However, EIP works very well for older kids as well.

Pre School Preparation (PSP) is a short-term EIP that is designed to prepare your child for an inclusive school (normal school). Often, normal schools do not have enough aids and tools to accommodate kids with special needs and therefore are either kept in the same category or they do not take admission. So, in order for your child to fit in the normal school setting, our PSP will help them get used to the classroom environment and curriculum. Our Special Educational Need (SEN) teachers will design a curriculum keeping all other milestones in consideration.

PSP lasts from 9 months to a year. If any parents feel that their child needs more time in PSP, we will happily accommodate.

For EIP, you can enroll anytime and for PSP, you can enroll your child in our upcoming session.
